Artists Guild of Manatee
Visit the various galleries, studios, restaurants and other small businesses in the arts district on the first Friday of every month from 6-9:30 p.m. and the first Saturday of every month from 11-4 p.m. Located in the Village of the Arts neighborhood, just south of downtown Bradenton.

Reels at Rossi Park

Outdoor movie series every third Friday of the month. Movies start at 7 p.m. on a 3-story, outdoor screen in Rossi Waterfront Park near the clocktower.

The Market offers fresh food vendors, produce, plants and flowers, jewelry, and arts and crafts set to easy-listening, live music every Saturday on downtown’s Old Main Street. The Market is designed to support local farmers and growers and local businesses and is intended to be a social gathering place where families and friends can relax on our tree-shaded street while browsing for fresh food.

Downtown Bradenton Craft Festival
Feb. 13-14 on downtown pier and Barcarrota Blvd.
Enjoy food, drinks or a meal at Mattison’s and visit dozens of crafts vendors from across the nation during this first-time event along the Manatee River.

Pirates Pep Rally
6-10 p.m. Feb. 25 on Old Main Street. A street party to celebrate the beginning of Pirates spring training and the arrival of the new Bradenton Marauders! Food, drinks and other vendors; Players will sign autographs and the Marauders will unveil the team's new jersey.

SeaFood Fest
March 26-28 along Barcarrota Blvd.
The Hernando De Soto Heritage SeaFood Fest is one of Florida’s the area’s most popular events, attended by thousands each year. This family-oriented event features some of the best seafood around along with other selections from area restaurants and food vendors. Also included: live music two stages, crafts from area artisans and other activities.

Easter Sunrise Service

The public is welcome to attend the Hernando DeSoto Historical Society’s annual sunrise service in Rossi Waterfront Park.

Manatee Jazz Fest
April 9-18
Arts and cultural organizations throughout Manatee County will celebrate Jazz Fest from April 9-18. Jazz Fest is a celebration of Jazz music, culture and history and organizations in Manatee County will have live jazz performances lined up throughout the event. Prices and times will vary for individual events. Check manateejazzfest.com for a schedule of events in March.

Bottle Boat Regatta
10-2 p.m. at the Palma Sola Causeway
Saturday, April 10
The Hernando DeSoto Historical Society’s Annual Bottle Boat Regatta on the south side of the Palma Sola Causeway.

2010 Bradenton Geckofest
The third bi-annual Bradenton GeckoFest, a fund-raiser for the arts in Bradenton and Manatee County. Keep a lookout for new gecko models on buildings throughout the county starting in December 2009. Below are upcoming GeckoFest events:
GeckoFest Preview Party: 5-8 p.m. April 16 at Reels at Rossi Park.
Geckos on Parade: April 24 during the DeSoto Grand Parade.
GeckoFest Gala and Auction: May 1 at the Courtyard by Marriott Riverfront.

DeSoto Grand Parade
5 p.m. Saturday, April 24
The Annual DeSoto Heritage Festival Grand Parade – the biggest parade in the state of Florida with an average attendance of 200,000 people – will begin at 5 p.m. at Manatee High School, proceed along 39th Street West to Manatee Avenue and turn east on Ninth Street West toward downtown.
